Who will create the most impressive LOBA floor? The annual LOBA FLOORING AWARD sets out to answer this question. This year, the international competition celebrates outstanding wood flooring projects in commercial and public spaces brought to life with LOBA products—including hotels, restaurants, museums, and schools. Contractors are encouraged to submit their projects by the end of April, 2025. Winners will receive valuable prizes and gain exclusive recognition for their work.
Attractive prizes for the three best projects
The winner of the first prize will receive LOBA products valued at €3,000 and have their project prominently featured on the cover of the LOBA catalog 2026. Second- and third-place winners will also be awarded high-quality product prizes. The products may be selected individually via a voucher.
Terms & conditions of participation and selection process
Contractors are invited to submit representative images and descriptions of their completed project via the LOBA website. The entry period runs from January 1 to April 30, 2025. Full details on participation can be found at: www.loba.de/int_en/loba-flooring-award
The best projects will be selected in a two-stage process: In the first step, an international jury of experts will nominate the three most compelling flooring references. The jury includes Claus Wissutschek (Head of Application Technology at the headquarters), Tyler Myatt (Service Technician at LOBA-Wakol LLC, USA), and Fraser McArthur (Product Manager for LOBA at Lecol UK, United Kingdom). In the second step, wood floor professionals worldwide will determine the final ranking of the nominated projects through a social media vote. The winners will be announced in June 2025.
LOBA looks forward to celebrating exceptional craftsmanship and wishes all participants the best of success.
