High-performance, sustainable, easy: LOBA is launching EasyFinish Neo, a pioneering wood floor finish that combines the ease of use of a single-component system with the resistance of a 2K finish. This product innovation, made with renewable raw materials, is the sustainable evolution of the globally proven EasyFinish and sets new standards in performance, processing safety and environmental compatibility.
Highly resistant, highly versatile
1K finish with 2K performance: EasyFinish Neo offers the resistance of a 2K system, following the tradition of
EasyFinish. It is highly resistant to mechanical wear and household chemicals.
Therefore, EasyFinish Neo is ideal for heavy traffic residential areas and commercial use. In combination with either LOBA SportCare or Refresh, it also meets the requirements for sliding friction in accordance with DIN 18032 for sports floors. EasyFinish Neo was developed for use on wood floors, parquet and cork floors and is available in semi-gloss and satin variants.
Consistently sustainable
EasyFinish Neo impresses with its sustainable production and, according to the European Polymer Dispersion and Latex Association (EPDLA), saves 25% CO2 compared to the industry average. Another advantage in terms of eco-friendliness is that it is made with renewable raw materials, obtained from castor and rapeseed oil. As a result, EasyFinish Neo achieves an impressive 34.5% renewable carbon content in the radiocarbon test (according to ASTM D6866-18).
In addition, the following features round off the environmentally friendly profile of EasyFinish Neo: Certified according to EMICODE® EC1PLUS, the water-based finish is particularly low-emission and free from harmful substances. The modern formula does not contain any per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFAS), plasticizers, heavy metals or substances of very high concern (SVHCs). The container, made from 100% recycled plastic, is also sustainable.
Easy to use
Thanks to its excellent processing properties, EasyFinish Neo can be applied safely and without lap marks. The finish is characterized by excellent flow properties and optimal sandability without clogging of the sanding paper.
EasyFinish Neo is compatible with all LOBA sealers, including the oil-based 2K Intensive and 2K Intensive Color. It can be combined with all LOBA additives and is optimally compatible with numerous parquet adhesives from Wakol as part of the tested and proven LOBA Wakol – Connected Systems.
The recommended system setup for parquet and wood floors consists of one coat of sealer (e.g. EasyPrime) and two coats of EasyFinish Neo. For cork floors, the finish is applied without a sealer in three coats.
With EasyFinish Neo, LOBA is setting a new industry standard: safe for processors, healthy for end customers, and convincing in performance.
