Tips for taking great photos

These tips will help you take striking photos that showcase a room’s light, ambiance and distinctive details.

  • Use natural light
Take photos during the day to capture natural light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can cast harsh shadows. A cloudy sky provides soft, evenly diffused light.
  • Angle and perspective
Take photos at eye level or from a slightly elevated position to show the whole room. A slight angle into the corner of a room opens up the image and adds depth.
  • Tidy up
A tidy, uncluttered room looks more spacious and appealing.
  • Capture details
In addition to a full shot of the room, close-ups of the wood floor will help provide a full impression of your project.
