LOBA Flooring Award 2025 – Commercial Projects

Our jury has reached a decision: Three outstanding projects have been nominated and will be showcased for two weeks on this website and on social media.
From May 24, it will be your turn – choose your favorite during the public voting period on this website.

Project A

Type of use: Education

Type of wood: Oak, Smoked Oak, Ash, European Walnut, European Cherry, Pearwood, Elm

LOBA products used: Akzent 100 Oil, Akzent 100 Wax

Description: Restoration/renovation of a historic wood floor with inlays

Project B

Type of use: Event space

Type of wood: Merbau

LOBA products used: EasyFill, EasyPrime, 2K Duo satin, Amberizer

Description: Renovation of mosaic and strip parquet flooring

Project C

Type of use: Hotel reception

Type of wood: Oak and other wood types

LOBA products used: 2K Intensive transparent & 2K Duo extra-matte

Description: Renovation of a wood floor with inlays

Two-stage selection process

The projects submitted by April 30, 2025, will be selected in two stages

1. Nomination: Jury of experts nominates three projects

• May 5 – 16: Our international jury of experts will select three projects from the pool of entries, based on defined criteria
• May 19 – 23: The three nominated projects will be showcased on the LOBA website and social media

2. Public voting: Hardwood floor installers worldwide will decide on the winning project

• May 24–June 8: During the two-week public voting period, any visitor to our website can vote for their favorite project. The nominated project with the most votes wins.
• After June 8: LOBA announces the winners
