• Shake the masse, add the hardener in a ratio of 5:1 and mix in with LOBA Paint mixer by machine. For mixing smaller quantities, use the LOBA Mixing Container or a scale to weigh out the components. Can be used for two hour after mixing.
• At site conditions of 50% rel. humidity or higher, it is important to ensure adequate air ventilation with fans.
• The surface must be professionally sanded. The floor must be dry and free of any old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust and other impurities.
• The optimal processing conditions are room temperature +15°C to + 25°C, floor temperature +15°C to +22°C, rel. humidity 40% - 65%, material temperature +18°C - + 25°C, max. wood moisture 12%, sufficiently ventilate working rooms.
• In order to prevent parquet damage, the room temperature should be set to the annual average expected for the use of the product.
• Transfer material to a LOBA varnish bucket before applying.
• Stir the material well.

Thinner / Mixing

The product is ready for use and must not be reduced!

Application tool / application rate

LOBA oil roller Microfaser 60-80 / approx. 20-40g/m² (25-50m²/kg) depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
Equalise with LOBASAND SpecialPad beige.

Drying time

• Earliest possible overcoating after 12 hours.
• If there are drying delays, wait until completely dry.

Intermediate sanding

Do not intermediate-sand the primer.

Structure recommendation for roller application:

• Apply a thin layer of primer using the LOBA Oil roller "Microfiber 60-80".
• After around 30-60 minutes contact time, thoroughly equalise using a single-disc machine and the LOBASAND SpecialPad beige, completely removing any excess.
• Dry for at least 12 hours.
• Apply LOBA Water-based finish (according to technical information).
• Intermediate polish with a LOBASAND grid pad with P240 sanding stripes underneath.
• Apply LOBA Water-based finish (according to technical information).

Important information

If the fibre saturation is not achieved due to an inadequate amount of product being applied, or if there is only a single trowel application, greying of the wood can occur.Excess material must be completely removed during equalisation. Drying delays are possible on some exotic timbers.Keep soaked cloths, pads and other tools in closed containers. Moisten oil in combination with sanding dust, fabric cloths and so on with water or store in a sealable bucket and dispose of in a fire-safe manner, since otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition.
